Ripley Gas, Water & Wastewater Department offers a unique opportunity for someone that is seeking a job serving the public through gas, water and wastewater utilities. We are looking for individuals who work in a team environment with customer service skills, and preferably some skills in plumbing or excavating. RGWW offers each full-time employee the benefit of getting vested into the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS) with no employee expense, or in other words with no cost to you. For each year of employment or service, your TCRS service life will increase bringing more value to your retirement in the years to come. RGWW also pays 70% of your family medical health care, vision care, and eye care as a benefit to each employee. Here at RGWW we encourage employees to gain their state certifications based upon the area they are employed in. As you gain experience needed to take Certification Exams, RGWW will pay for courses to help prepare you, whether it is in the gas, water or wastewater utility fields. Dear Customers, RGWW is currently replacing meter indexes on all of our gas meters throughout the city and the county. We are also locating each meter using GPS Equipment as a part of our Asset Management Program. Thank you for working with us on completing this project.

Our lobby will be closed to walk-in customers beginning Tuesday, May 7 for 2 weeks due to construction. We will still be able to fully serve our customers at the drive-thru window and by phone at 731-635-1212. We apologize for any inconvenience.
